After watched 1 night 2 days, I am curious to make tteok-galbi. If you are Korean please stop laughing with this post. I know that the real tteok-galbi is made by high quality beef rib meat. But I just a student who find the way to empty her refrigerator, I just have ordinary minced beef meat, so I tried to use very very very very simple tteok-galbi by my own interpretation hahahahaha.
You can try it home if you have minced beef meat.
How to make:
- saute chopped onion and garlic.
- Mixed ground beef, the sauteed onion and garlic, spring onion, pureed ginger, sugar, soy sauce, honey, salt, pepper, and the last: flour
- If you have a mixer it will be so much better to mix everything well. But if you haven’t (like me) just use your hand and power to mix everything.
- Form into patties
- heat with low-medium fire until everything are well cooked. Mine is a bit failed because I forget to lower the fire :p be careful, fire always tricky
